Fiction Adaptation Unit: Research for Essay

It turns out that Andy is also looking at The Walking Dead and the graphic novel so we have agreed to work on it together and come up with two separate essay ideas: otherwise we'll end up having duplicate essays.

Today he came over to mine and we watched the pilot episode for season 1 and made notes:

Notes For The Walking Dead

This was just brief notes and comparisons between the pilot and the comic. We will be making more details as time goes on.

What you can see from the notes is that there are quite a few changes made for the pilot: such as taking 12 minutes for the show to cover the first page in the comic.

However there are some scenes that are included in the show but aren't in the comic:

There is no military set-up outside the hospital in the comic.
